Wilshire Studying Pirlo Mascherano In Defensive Midfield Role - RealGM Wiretap
Jack Wilshire hopes to receive more chances in a new role as a defensive-midfielder for England.
Wilshire was deployed at the base of a midfield diamond in England's 2-0 win over Switzerland.
"I spoke with the manager and Gary Neville in the week and they told me they wanted me to play that role and I quite enjoyed it Nathaniel Clyne Jersey ,” he told the FA’s official website.
"It was my first time ever playing there so, over the next month or so, I am going to look at a few videos of this game and of players who play in that position regularly - Pirlo, Mascherano and players like that - and I’ll get better.
"I felt it went well [on Monday] but, next time we meet up, I feel it can only go better."
As Keep Anderson Crisp; Decline Suzuki Young - RealGM Wiretap
The A's picked up the options on Brett Anderson and Coco Crisp while deciding against keeping Kurt Suzuki and Chris Young, the club announced Friday.
Suzuki, who was to make $8.5M if his option had been picked up, and Young ($11M) are now free agents.
Anderson's option is for $8M and Crisp's is at $7.5M.
